HELLO FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
This is Chelsea and Mackenzie writing to you from the hotel in Berlin. Today we took a full day excursion to the historical town of Wittenberg. This town is known as the place where Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses. On our drive we were able to see villages and a lot of countryside. We took a walking tour throughout the whole town with a local tour guide. We were able to see the Stadkirche St. Marien Church. This is the church in town where Martin Luther was a pastor and performed 2,000 services. It also had a memorial plaque for Gustav Adolf II. A little taste of home for us Gusties :) We also went to the Gothic Church where Luther preached the Reformation. We were able to visit the Lutherhaus and Musuem where Luther and his family lived. Today was a very long and interesting day out in the cold! We drove back to the hotel in Berlin for dinner and our last night in this wonderful city.
